Refund & Returns Policy
This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases of wallets, card holders and belts made directly on buffway.com.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
1. Scope
This Policy covers how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds for wallets, card holders and belts purchased directly from our official website, buffway.com.
It distinguishes between:
- Issues that are our responsibility (for example: defective, damaged or incorrect items); and
- Returns that are your choice (for example: change of mind, wrong style, size or color).
2. Return period
- You may request a return within 30 days from the date you receive your item.
- For customers in the European Union, you also have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason and without justification (the "cooling-off period").
- Our 30-day policy is in addition to your statutory rights.
3. Conditions for returns
To be eligible for a return, items must be in resellable condition and, where reasonably possible, include original packaging.
3.1 Wallets & card holders
- Unused, with no visible wear, scratches, stains or stretching.
- All original inserts and accessories included.
- Original packaging is preferred and, where reasonably possible, should be returned.
3.2 Belts
- Unused, with no visible wear on the strap or buckle.
- Not cut, shortened, resized or punctured with additional holes.
- All original inserts and accessories included.

3.3 Loss of value due to use
- If items show signs of use, damage or alteration beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may:
- Refuse the return, or
- Reduce your refund to reflect any loss of value.
For EU customers exercising statutory rights, you may handle the product only as you would in a physical store. Any use beyond that may result in a deduction from your refund.
4. Non-returnable items
The following items are non-returnable, except where faulty, damaged or not as described:
- Gift cards / e-gift cards.
- Products clearly marked as "Final Sale", "Non-returnable" or similar wording at the time of purchase.
If we introduce customized or personalized products (for example, engraved wallets or belts), such items will normally be non-returnable except where faulty. This will be clearly indicated on the relevant product pages.
5. How to initiate a return
To start a return, please contact us at support@buffway.com and provide:
- Your order number.
- The item(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return.
- Photos or videos if the item is damaged, defective or incorrect.
We will then:
- Confirm whether your return is eligible.
- Provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or written approval.
- Send you the return address and packing instructions.
- Provide a prepaid return label where available, and explain any cost that may be deducted from your refund in change-of-mind cases.
Items returned without prior approval may be delayed or returned to you.
6. Shipping & fees
We distinguish between returns that are our responsibility and returns that are your choice.
6.1 Our responsibility: defective, damaged or incorrect items
If you receive an item that is:
- Defective,
- Damaged during shipping, or
- Not what you ordered,
then:
- We will cover the cost of return shipping:
- Normally by providing a prepaid return label, or
- If we ask you to arrange shipping, by reimbursing reasonable return shipping costs (up to the cost of a standard tracked service) upon proof of payment.
- We will also refund your original shipping fees, if any; or, if you prefer, send a replacement at no extra cost.
If, after inspection, we find that the item is not defective, not damaged and matches your order, we may:
- Return the item to you at your cost, or
- Treat the case as a change-of-mind return (see section 6.2) and deduct any shipping costs we initially covered from your refund.
This approach keeps the policy fair and helps prevent abuse of free returns, while fully protecting you when the issue is genuinely our fault.
6.2 Your choice: change of mind, wrong style, size or color
If you wish to return an item for reasons not related to a fault on our side (for example, you changed your mind, or ordered the wrong style, size or color):
- You are normally responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law (for example, certain EU cooling-off rules).
- Your refund will cover the product price only, subject to:
- The item being in resellable condition, and
- Any deduction for loss of value due to use or damage.
If we offer a prepaid return label for your convenience in change-of-mind cases and you choose to use it, we may:
- Deduct the cost of the label from your refund.
We will always disclose the applicable amount (if any) before you confirm your return.
7. EU 14-day cooling-off right
If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the legal right to:
- Cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason and without justification.
To exercise this right, you must:
- Inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order (an email to support@buffway.com is sufficient); and
- Send the goods back to us without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days from the day you informed us of your decision.
Unless we have explicitly offered free returns in your country, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, except where the goods are defective, damaged or not as described.
When you exercise your legal right of withdrawal:
- We will refund all payments received from you for the goods, including the cost of standard delivery to you (if any). Any additional costs for express or premium delivery will not be refunded.
- We may withhold the refund until we have:
- Received the goods back, or
- Received evidence that you have sent back the goods,
whichever is earlier.
Our voluntary 30-day return policy does not reduce your EU statutory rights and, in some respects, may be more generous.
8. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund is:
- Approved in full,
- Approved in part, or
- Refused,
and we will explain the reasons.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Any deductions (for example, for return label costs in change-of-mind cases, or for loss of value due to excessive use or damage) will be clearly stated in our confirmation.
Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at support@buffway.com.
9. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund & Returns Policy is intended to exclude, limit or otherwise affect any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under:
- The laws of your country of residence, or
- Any applicable regional or national consumer protection rules (for example, legal guarantees and cooling-off rights in the European Union or the United Kingdom).
